SOUTH BANK FORUM
South Bank Forum is run by South Bank Employers' Group (SBEG) on behalf of the South Bank Partnership, allowing local residents to express their views, influence decisions about their neighbourhood and ensure decision-makers fully understand the community’s priorities. The Forum meets three to four times a year and is chaired by local MPs – Kate Hoey (Vauxhall) and Neil Coyle (Bermondsey and Old Southwark).
Topics and debates in recent meetings have included:
Hungerford Car Park
Talks from major developers including Shell/Braeburn
Talks on major public realm schemes including changes to road layouts and transport infrastructure
South Bank Forum dates are announced around a month in advance on twitter @southbankforum and on the SE1 Website.
UPDATE - The South Bank Forum which was due to take place on 6th June has been rescheduled and will now take place on Wednesday 10th July from 7pm - 9pm at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre.
